I enjoyed Janet's company for a few years during her stay at Monash in the Centre for Green Chemistry. Her knowledge and enthusiasm in this field has been acknowledged by many of her peers over many years. She was fierce in her aim to inspire excellence in her students, always challenging and encouraging them to exceed their expectations. Janet also enjoyed the outdoors and walking, and was an intrepid member on many of Roy Jackson's bushwalks in the Grampians and Wilson's Prom. As we found, a designated path often did not need to be followed, but she was always back in time for a BBQ and wine. We will miss her. Eva Campi
